MetOry Agro · Premium module

Irrigate on evidence, not on habit.

Which zone to irrigate, when, how many millimetres and cubic metres, and for how long. An FAO-56 daily water balance per zone from the live forecast, a decision with its evidence, a task you approve and a record of what was applied.

Live outlook

Crop water use in Catalonia, the next five days.

Three example parcels, read from the latest live forecast. ET0 is the FAO-56 reference evapotranspiration; ETc is the crop’s use at its stage today. The stress line assumes a root zone at field capacity this morning and no rain.

Crop, soil and cycle start are declared examples, not a grower’s measurements. This is not an irrigation decision for your field.

How it works

From parcel to result, in one loop.

01

Parcel, crop and soil

Draw the farm once: pump flow, supply windows and season quota, then each zone with its crop, soil texture or analysis and irrigation system.

02

Real data

The zone reads the live forecast for its coordinates. Each day is frozen as issued before it starts, so the record shows what was known at the time.

03

Water balance

FAO-56 Penman–Monteith ET0, the crop coefficient for today’s stage and a daily root-zone balance. Unknown stays unknown, never zero.

04

Decision with evidence

Irrigate now, wait, partial or not needed, with net and gross millimetres, cubic metres and run time, and the three scenarios side by side.

05

A task you approve

The pump and its windows decide what fits. A run that does not fit one window is split or marked infeasible, never squeezed.

06

Record and result

Log what was applied, even offline. Measured water stays apart from the estimate, and a changed forecast puts the task back up for review.

Who it is for

Made for the people who run the water.

Vineyards

Drip zones by plot and variety, with deficit decisions you can explain.

Orchards

Apple, pear and stone fruit blocks that share one pump and its windows.

Field crops

Maize and other irrigated crops, where a missed week costs yield.

Cooperatives

Several farms in one workspace, each member seeing their own zones.

Irrigation communities

Quota and supply windows as hard limits, not a footnote.

Agronomists

Every decision carries its inputs, assumptions and rule version.

Method and limits

What MetOry Agro does not claim.

  • Advisory only: MetOry does not start pumps or open valves.
  • Crop parameters are the generic FAO-56 values and await agronomist review for each pilot.
  • Soil comes from the texture class (FAO-56 Table 19) until you enter your analysis.
  • Frost, hail and storm risk by crop stage is the next phase and is not shown yet. Official warnings remain authoritative.

Bring one farm into the pilot.

Catalonia first: vineyards, orchards and irrigated maize, then southern France.
