MetOry Core 0.1

A model approach that carries
weather into the work context.

The aim is not to build a global atmosphere model from scratch. It is to connect existing meteorological inputs to localisation, activity impact and auditable decision layers.

ECMWF ENS probability on this chart is ECMWF’s product. It is not MetOry confidence, MetOry probability, or MetOry risk %.

The temperature-anomaly chart is a deterministic ECMWF field relative to the model climate. The rainfall chart is an ECMWF ENS probability product. Valid time is the ECMWF valid time, not a MetOry T window. MetOry did not create these products.

What are we building?

A shared core.
Activity-specific meaning.

Instead of a giant model per firm: a shared meteorological core, sector context, and customer adaptation when there is enough data.

This page describes the aim and the limits. Private training data, learned weights, customer thresholds and internal policy details are not published on this surface.

01

Source handling

Time, unit, support domain and source lineage. Copies of the same input are not extra evidence.

02

Local probabilistic model

Calibration / correction candidates for place and lead time. No local-skill claim without data and independent test.

03

Firm impact model

Which activity can be interrupted, with which result? Meteorological event and work result are separate targets.

04

Decision and evidence

Actionable option, preparation time, owner and reproducible record.

Where AI sits

Calculation, rules and language
are not interchangeable.

01

Numerical model

Computes the distribution / scenario. Carries target, method, version and evidence state.

02

Rule engine

Checks approved procedure and authority. Badges or thresholds are not set by a subscription pack.

03

Language model

Explains a structured result and may suggest profile fields. It does not invent numbers, badges or physical commands.

Validation path

Targets are not measured success.

Reference calculation → data archive → locked test → shadow work → limited operational approval.

Research policy keeps model training, automatic promotion and live send closed. This website does not open those gates.
